Designed by H.E Clifford; as architect he lived nearby at Moray Place during construction of this tenement and those tenements directly opposite Terregles Ave, across the Cathcart Circle railway line at 15-57 Fotheringay Road.
Henry Edward Clifford designed many schools, churches and private homes in Glasgow and also notably the Victoria Infirmary in Battlefield.
