Clarke & Bell designed few tenements, their main portfolio extended to large projects such as the Fish Market on the Briggait, but also churches, schools and famous Glasgow pubs including McSorley's, The Corona and The Grant Arms.
The first floor flat of Number 145 was obtained by the National Trust for Scotland in 1982.
